The biggest differences are the size and disposition of the two. Standard beagles can be 15" tall and weigh up to 40 pounds. Olde English Pocket Beagles are typically 10" tall and weigh10-15 pounds.
Both dogs have very loving dispositions and are known to be one of the number one breeds for children. Olde English Pocket Beagles tend to be more refined and better adaptable. Pocket beagles are not known to be barky hyper dogs.
